Aquaterro signs a new 3-year contract for multi-threat body armour with WA Police

RECOGNISED SUCCESS – WA POLICE BODY ARMOUR CONTRACT

In November 2024, Aquaterro had the privilege of hosting Mark McGowan, former Premier of Western Australia.
Aquaterro is proud to have successfully delivered – on time and on budget – the first ever major contract for multi-threat body armour for all WA Police officers, under a 2019 program initiated by the McGowan Government.

In October 2024, Aquaterro signed a new 3-year contract for multi-threat body armour to support the 6,500+ officers of WA Police, including supply of new updated vests.

As the largest police jurisdiction in the world—covering 2.4 million square kilometres—WA’s needs are vast and unique. In 2020, our Senior Fitter, Ethne Moller, personally measured all WAPOL officers at their Stations, ensuring a tailored fit for every single officer.
This comprehensive, complex program of supply and support, conducted through the COVID period, confirmed Aquaterro as the most experienced and reliable supplier in this space.
