Aquaterro showcases the Team Wendy / Avon Protection RIFLETECH Helmet at Land Forces 2024

FOR THE FIRST TIME IN AUSTRALIA, THE NEW RIFLETECH HELMET IS UNVEILED

Aquaterro was excited to showcase publicly for the first time in Australia, the Team Wendy / Avon Protection RIFLETECH Helmet at the recent Land Forces International Land Defence Exposition. Rifle protection helmets are not new. The Avon Group produced rifle protective helmets as long as ten years ago, however the technology development in materials and process since then, has come an incredibly long way. Avon is the major supplier of the new US Army IHPS-Gen2 Helmet. The most advanced combat helmet ever made. A capability made possible due to Avon’s ballistic materials scientists and engineers. It is no surprise therefore, that the new boltless, ENVG-ready, Team Wendy RIFLETECH helmet is as light as it is, and has the performance it does.
IHPS helmets are now being made alongside Australian Army and ADF Tiered Combat Helmets (TCH) in the same factory. Aquaterro is proud to be the Strategic Partner for Survivability to the ADF for headborne systems.
